no, its electric (boogy woogy woogy) but it might have a small speaker on board to pump out the diesel clatter. I love scale 4x4...but at the end of the day, my budget goes towards the real deal.

right yes, I had assumed it was a speaker of some kind. Seems a bit of a waste, lights and sounds draining the battery and thus shortening play time

lights aren't enough of a drain to matter, and they are usually on a lower voltage system anyway run off other batteries, but hey, you gotta commit to scale....

My truggy is meant to look like a Tacoma. Honestly it's pretty much stock looking on the outside, with a cheapish lexan body shell. Inside, it's been pretty extensively modified. It's waterproof to the point of being able to operate completely underwater.

Your brother looks like he has a wraith, which is from the same company that makes my truggy. His buggy is more capable in pretty much every way, theyre really cool and can do a lot of stuff, e.g. rock crawl AND go fast. my truggy maxes out at about walking speed.

his is the black one, Wraith sounds familiar. He upgraded his to waterproof, higher voltage and brushless...its pretty speedy.
